The Courage To Care
The idea of being "brave" has been filling our school for quite some time. Not the kind of brave that takes you running into a burning building (though we need people with that kind of brave too), but the every day braves like asking someone new to play, raising your hand in class, or standing up for someone who needs it. These simple daily actions can not only transform our lives, but the lives of those around us. This year we are specifically focusing on the courage needed to show caring, even if it means not looking cool. Each week Mrs. Pennington will challenge the students to demonstrate caring for another person in their life, be it at school, home, or in the community. Look for updates in newsletters and backpacks!
